O.J. Simpson has just been granted parole and he'll be released from prison as early as October.

Simpson has served 9 years of a maximum 33 year prison sentence after he was convicted of armed robbery in 2008. O.J. tried to retrieve some of his "stolen" memorabilia in Las Vegas, but said he had no clue the people he was with was armed.

During the hearing, O.J. apologized for the role he played in the robbery. He said he offered no excuses during his 9 year stay behind bars and would have no problem with any parole conditions imposed on him.

I was blown away when I saw that earlier. I know there's a 50/50 split with people about this, but in my opinion he should stay behind bars for the full 33 years ... for everything he has done.

I'll have to agree with you there, but the parole board is following the book and if you don't take his past history in to consideration, he's eligible for release. Besides, he's now 70 years old so he shouldn't be a threat to anyone on the outside.
